Define the fitting role

Start with the assembly position: suspension, tension, connection, protection, grounding, stay or pole-line hardware.

Check the interfaces

• Conductor or cable type and outside diameter
• Applicable insulator or attachment arrangement
• Structure interface and connection dimensions
• Material, surface treatment and project documentation requirements

Keep the review traceable

Ask suppliers to identify the reference drawing, model basis and assumptions used in their response.
